Privacy

What Roadside Edit collects, stores and shares.

The short version

This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts and has no login. Reading it does not create an account, a profile or a record tied to you.

What is collected automatically

Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages record standard request logs: the IP address the request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser’s user-agent string. These logs exist to keep the site running and to identify abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not sold, and are not shared with advertisers.

Requests reach the site through Cloudflare, which operates the network in front of it and processes the same request data in order to route traffic and filter attacks.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Because of that there is no consent banner — there is nothing to consent to. Your browser may still store ordinary technical data such as its own cache, which this site does not read.

If you email us

If you write to the address below, we keep the message so we can reply. We do not add correspondents to a mailing list.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its processing. Because this site holds essentially none, such a request is usually answered quickly. Write to the address below.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this site ever adds analytics, advertising or any other third-party service, this page will be updated before that goes live, and the date at the top will change.
